The year is nearing its close, and its time to pass on the responsibility of managing NSS to the new team.

If the task of managing a social enterprise, ideating and creating projects to bring about change, organizing and rallying a group of volunteers to see an impact in the society sound interesting to you, you're in the right place!

Foreword

The NSS of IIT Madras has consciously undergone a series of structural and ideological changes in order to foster creativity and innovation in all its activities. The new model of NSS looks forward for socially relevant initiatives, taken up as individual projects to create an impact on NSS volunteers as well as on the society.This model welcomes members from any course and branch of study to get involved in creative and innovative social work.

Explained in this blog are the new structure of NSS, and a list of ideas which can be taken up as projects in the coming year. The applications to the NSS Team 2011-2012 is also provided.
